Shortly after I joining TiVo, I was introduced to a skunkworks team of two engineers working on a breadboard prototype. This prototype eventually became the TiVo Stream, which is small hardware that streams recorded content from your TiVo DVR and lets you watch on your tablet anywhere. As the sole designer on the team, my role was to create and define new and emerging interfaces and interactions around streaming, playback, gesture controlled video transfer, and content discovery. Our prototype resulted in new products and experiences including the TiVo Stream, a custom streaming player interface, and the TiVo Mini. As some of this work is still confidential this is all I can provide.
