Bigeye (series B), formerly now known as Toro Data, provides data quality monitoring services. I was a co-founder with CEO, Kyle Kirwan before departing in 2019. From our experiences building and designing Uber's data tools, we had two goals: 1) Differentiate and establish an identity within the data tools segment through excellent design and engineering; 2) Design and ship a wedge experience, which provides clean and intuitive methods for monitoring data either hosted via web console, deployed on-prem, or by container. To accomplish this, I designed and built our earliest prototypes and our wedge product experience for launch. Additionally I developed and designed our early stage brand and marketing materials including, site, blog, and more. Bigeye raised a successful seed round shortly after.
